Commercial Insurance Producer (Sales)

Own the end-to-end sales motion for small business and commercial clients looking for general liability, E&O, workers comp, and more.

Remote (US) Full-time

How you'll make an impact

  • Build pipeline and close new business with founders and operators who need fast, clear coverage guidance.
  • Translate coverage needs into bind-ready submissions with the right carriers and underwriters.
  • Shape the sales playbook for a high-trust, consultative insurance buying experience.

Responsibilities

  • Run discovery calls, identify exposures, and recommend coverage packages aligned to client risk.
  • Coordinate submissions, quotes, and bind requests with carrier partners and internal operations.
  • Track opportunities and renewals, keeping CRM data clean and actionable.
  • Partner with marketing to refine lead qualification and improve conversion.

What we're looking for

  • Commercial P&C sales experience with a track record of hitting targets.
  • Strong understanding of general liability, E&O, property, and workers comp coverage.
  • Comfortable explaining policy language to non-insurance buyers.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-moving startup environment.

Nice to have

  • Active state producer license(s).
  • Experience selling to startups, agencies, or professional services firms.
